K-State Rodeo Club

The Kansas State University Rodeo Club will be a part of the KSU EquiCenter. Upon the completion of the Equine Center, the team will have housing for horses and livestock, as well as practice facilities.
Purpose
Promote and educate the history, heritage and tradition of rodeo to students and the general public. Provide opportunities for students to become actively involved in rodeo. Provide practice and coaching to students desiring to improve their skills in rodeo events. Encourage academic improvement and develop competent leadership among student members. Provide service to the sport of rodeo and the community.

Can I get a scholarship?
Yes. K-State offers $175 million worth of federal, state, university, institutional and private aid each year! In addition to the scholarships offered by the university, the K-State Rodeo Club Advisory Board also provides annual scholarships for team members. Go to www.k-state.edu/sfa for more information.
Where do I keep my horse?
In the near future the EquiCenter will be available for K-State rodeo horses. Until then, there are numerous places to board horses in the Manhattan area. For more information, please contact either team captain, Luke Holland at lholland@ksu.edu or Becky Anderson at beckylin@ksu.edu.

How do I try out for the team?
There are no formal tryouts for the K-State team. Anyone who pays their National Intercollegiate Rodeo Association membership dues and their K-State Rodeo Club dues is considered a part of the team. If you have questions please e-mail Coach Doug Muller at mullerd@ksu.edu.
